Bad jumpstarts killed my car HELP
Hi guys. My battery was low this morning and I got the clicking noise when tried to start. So I jump started it. The problem is I hooked up the battery cables backwards and didn’t realize it. The car interior went dead but the car cranked over but didn’t start.
I replaced the battery. Then I got the door ding alarm to work, headlights work and car started. I got no interior controls. No radio or dash cluster. No access to the gear shifter it was locked in park. Windows and locks don’t work.
What would be be the best place to start to look? I’m thinking the Main relay.

Check all fuses under the hood especially the high current ones. You don't say what year your car is so can't be more specific.

97 Lexus. Es 300.
Is there a main fuse? Or fusible link?
I saw a 40amp relay named Main. Could that be bad?
also, could the computer defaulted into theft mode?

Check all the fuses means check all the fuses, first visually then if you don't see anything wrong with an ohm meter. See this thread:

Your computer could be fine or could be damaged it's hard to say. These cars are tough as nails but a backwards jump has the potential to do major damage.
