Is this shock absorber genuine?
Need to replace rear shock absorbers on an es330. Do these look genuine? A sticker clearly reads TOKICO & TOYOTA. I'd really appreciate any input from you guys!

Hmmm. I definitely thought of that! The guy claims he is a genuine Toyota/Lexus part dealer I was thinking, what about if the shocks can be used on the camry and as well as on the es330? Is that a possibility?

Huh. I have never seen a combo-printed box/packaging. They have always been careful to keep brand identity separate IME. BUT - they don't run their current practices by me, so things can change. But it's highly suspicious.
That said, I have bought genuine OEM parts in fake packaging - a Keihin valve timing module for a Honda. Seller put genuine part bought directly in fake Honda box/label.
If that is true, then call his parts department and check out his dealership website? They don't come from other places...

Pretty sure I’ve gotten stuff from the dealer or Lexuspartsnow that has Toyota/Lexus on the box like that. That’s why I don’t even attempt to get OEM unless it’s from those 2 places!

Its basically a spare parts store that supplies only Lexus/Toyota parts. When i asked him why the box had Toyota+Lexus on it. He mentioned that all of the parts that are supplied to him have both of the logos.
He even told me where he gets his parts from, and it looks like its genuine. The shocks both Left and Right Rear are going for $185. I also asked other people who purchased parts from him and it looks like they all claim his parts are genuine.

I ordered it from the UAE. Let me get my hands on it first, then i will get back to you on the product. Its just surprising that Lexus or Toyota OEM parts from the middle east are waaaayy cheaper than the OEM parts that are sold in the u.s. Why? I have no idea!
