Default Hid or non hid headlights?

Hi, my headlights are terribly ugly, I have to polish the yellowish...ing every couple of months so, I want to buy new headlight assemblies; I'm not sure if I have HID or non HID? Can anyone tell what they are by looking at the pictures?

Easy way to tell, when it's dark out watch the lights when you first turn them on if you see a delay before they get to full brightness you have HIDs.

Think easier way to tell is HID has a cover on back, while Halogen you will see both bulbs sticking out. Check passenger light as its easy to see. Also try googling the Headlight for the car will see the difference right away.

Ok, thanks...lights turn on with no delay and I'll check the back of the assembly tonight.

If the low beam is the same color as the high beam, its halogen. If its whiter/bluer, you have HIDs
