Lexus Es300 Rough Idle/ Jerky Acceleration
I recently got a series of error codes from my 2000 lexus es300. I went to advanced auto parts and got my computer scanned and received the error codes P300(Random multiple misfire detected), P301(misfire cylinder 1), P303(misfire cylinder 3), P305(misfire cylinder 5), P171(bank 1 system too lean), P1130, and P1135. I got this problem about a year prior but in bank 2. I solved the problem by replacing the bank 2 oil control valve(vvt solenoid) and afterwards it ran like new. This time I tackled the problem the same and replaced the bank 1 oil control valve. This time it did not fix the problem. My next step was to clean the oil control valve filters and to change the oil. Both of these actions resulted in no change to the engine. I have just ordered an O2 sensor for bank 1 and the camshaft position sensor for bank 1. The symptoms for this problem include a rough idle, jerky acceleration, and a drop in fuel efficiency. Has anyone had a similar problem and what part was responsible for the fixing of this?
