I have an '05 ES330 currently with 71,000 miles that I bought 4 years ago. The car had 40,000 miles when purchased. The timing belt is original. The manual says to change at 7 years or 90,000 miles. Given the age of the car, should I change the belt (and water pump) immediately?
You are guaranteed to get answers from don't change it to you must change it ASAP. I've replaced low mileage but old belts (15+ years) the timing belt looked perfect.
