Welcome to the Club.

This is the product you are talking about, https://products.liqui-moly.com/cata...cleaner-2.html

You want the positive crankcase ventilation hose where the red rectangle is. Pull that and spray there with the engine on.

Does this method work better than pouring it into the gas tank?

Better than in the gas, because it helps clean out the dirty air intake.

What do you mean by "poured in" did you follow the directions on the container?

Did you pour and spray as instruction says?

How about draining and filling oil? .

Dear @Lexmex
I have just used it now and placed a small narrow tube in the bottle. I removed the last manifold air sensor and placed the other end of the tube in. Unfortunately it sucked the whole fluid within a minute or so. i forgot to keep closing for 30 minutes. I didn't see smoke coming out of the exhaust. immediately after i noticed that the economy usage data read 0.3l/h on idle, it used to read 0.6 or 0.7l/h. Does that mean a problem happened or i broke anything? and also would i need to repeat the procedure again as no smoke came out and didn't keep spraying for 30 minutes. I am really worried about that economy meter reading. As i was expecting a lot of smoke like the videos i saw, i drove a little away from home in an open area. now i parked it back home and will see later how the engine will run. Please advice
