I am having trouble finding the paint code for the cladding on my 2000 Lexus ES300.

I know the main paint code is 4P2, but can't seem to find the code for the bottom half, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I stumbled across this, it's a list of 1999 Lexus Paint Codes for the two-tone combination. I assume 2000 was the same... would I be wrong to do so?

Also, the finish on my rims are starting to flake. Wondering if there is a way I can match paint and respray them?

according to it the Burnished Gold Metallic was clad with Topaz Metallic, unfortunately, there is no code listed for that.

What are you asking about the wheels? The car you just posted is probably cashmere beige metallic

1A2 paint code is called "Topaz Metallic" on all the sites I can find it on, same colour though? Also, where did you get those touch up pens?

The car I just posted said 4P2 on it, that was why I was wondering, but it's probably just wrong.

About the wheels, they are flaking pretty badly, was just wondering how I could restore/repaint them to look like they did before.

I got the paint pens at Lexus. The wheels will need to be repainted, luckily only parts of the wheel is painted the rest machined and polished. The paint codes are on the door sticker.

What do you mean by "only parts of the wheel are painted"? I will post a picture of the wheels tomorrow so you know what I mean.

Means only sections of the wheels have paint, the rest is machined and polished aluminum no paint.

Do those pens just have a tip on them, or also a brush? I contacted my local Lexus dealership, they said they can only get the 4P2 on backorder, and can't get the 1A2 at all... looks like I'll have to order online.

Yeah, was just wondering if there's any other way. They don't need to be perfect, just wanted them to be presentable.

how much would it cost to have them restored?

If you want to do them yourself look up wheel restoration on Youtube. Done professionally around here is about $150/wheel and up.

found a relatively easy way of refinishing them, only problem is I don't have a sandblaster. Any alternatives to sandblasting them? Maybe just sanding by hand or with an attachment for a drill?
