Looks really good man. I might consider doing something like this for my ES...

The newer gen ES with the is300 wheels look great!

I really like the look. It's my son's car, but technically, I own it. Also, it had the stock wheels until last week, when he ran it into a curb and ruined a rim (young driver, icy roads, lack of experience and that teenage invincibility air). Fortunately, I happened to have this set of rims around. Oddly, I bought them years ago to put winter tires on my GS, but ended up just buying another car - the RX that's there in the driveway. Never got to using them til now.

I like it. You should look into buffing the headlights and covering them with XPEL headlight film to refresh the front end. Great car!

Looks good, really love that wheel design. I guess your son destroying a wheel wasn’t that bad after all ha. I always though that Lexus of the late 90s and early 2000s were really let down by their wheel designs and specs (so sunken in), at least on base models. A simple upgrade made them so much better looking. My 2004 is on GS350 17s and it looks like a completely different car compared to what it was on 16s

That does look nice! Funny, I had a silver GS Sport Design that I sold a few years ago. What a great car that was. Now we have the ES330 and an RX330. I kinda miss the GS. My daily driver is now a Volvo S80 and a summer vert Fiat 124 Spider.

I sold mine as well and moved to a 3rd gen. Love S80s though and neighbor has a red 124 that’s been sitting in his driveway that he has been saying he’ll restore for the past 10 years, I doubt it’s happening, but he has owned it since new. Bet they’re a blast if he’s been willing to hold onto it

Those IS300 wheels must be heavy, I learned that the hard way when I had a set on my first Gen 5 Camry and Toyota Solara many years ago.

First thing I noticed when I picked them up, damn things must be 50 pounds a wheel 😖

Sweeeet! Looks like those wheels were made just for that Black Beauty.

One thing I did not mention - I agree, a lot of the Lexus wheel designs are truly uninspired. The last time I thought the ES had really nice wheels was 2000, when they reworked the original 3/6 prong wheels. That year, those wheels looked really nice.
