VVT sensor

Where is the VVT bank 1 for a 1999 lexus E300

Bank 1 is the rear bank. The solenoid inserts into the head from the rear. You can ID it by the electrical connector to it.

I don’t think there is a separate sensor; I think performance is monitored by the cam position sensor vs, PCU input to the solenoid. I thin
