how do you replace center dash light bulbs?
2003 ES300 - several of the center dash console lights are out. How do you determine if it is fuse or bulb, and how do you replace the bulbs?

I stand corrected, and edited my post accordingly.
No there are not 194 bulbs. "194" is the bulb type, available for a couple of dollars at any auto parts store.
Does anyone know if the ones behind the gauges are 194 as well? Or are those LED?

Assumively, based on color, brightness, and behavior, they are LED. Also, Lexus offered LED guages while
they were still futurist. But 4ES they weren’t uncommon.
It would be impossible to get the pure white of the gauges with an incandescent bulb, in my estimation

So I got to the point where I removed it from the center, but cannot figure out how to remove this white plastic from the housing and affraid I could break something.
Releasing with tips form black housing didn’t help. There must be something else.
The left side of the panel where’s TEMP button is not backlit.
At first I tried by removing the board by unscrewing three screws, but the board didn’t come off. I managed to unplug the side connectors by doing that so I need to remove it from the housing so I could push them back in.

UPDATE
I managed to take it off with a bit more force.
This is what it looks like.
I believe I need to replace the thick green LED behind LP4 on the board. Does anyone know which part that is?
Also, still not able to remove the board after unscrewing three screws. Am I missing something here?

Are the 3 white lamps for the LCD? They are labeled LCD.

Hm, not sure, I see what you’re saying, though.
The one I need to replace is a black casing, LP-4, in the upper right corner and doesnt say LCD. I can actually see it, and it looks like a thick green LED.
Questions:
What type of LED is this? Is it green or it has some green plastic/silicone on it?
Should I actually remove the seat heating ***** somehow, their board kind of blocks the big board.

Those circular white (LP1-LP3) and the black circular (LP4-LP8) are small incandescent bulbs with a rubbery green sleeve pulled over them. The bulbs can be replaced. Use a small flat blade screwdriver and twist them 1/4 turn gently and they'll come right out.
I go to the junk yard and pull them from old Camrys, but you can order them new on Amazon and other places.

The problem is I don’t know how to reach it as it is on the other side of the board.
