obd ii scan tool (for mobile phone)
Can someone recommend an odb2 adapter and mobile app to show readiness sensors?
I disconnected the battery for charging and then went for inspection a week later and my sensors still show "not ready".
I prefer not to guess when they might be ready (80 - 100 or200 miles later?). I don't drive the car much so drive just to drive for the sensors sake is not what I want to do.
I'll just check from time to time and then take the car in.
Thanks

ELM327 units work fine and are cheap on ebay and amazon.
there are multiple free apps like obd2 and torquelite. Be aware, if you have a iphone you need a wifi unit and not bluetooth. Apple restricts the bt protocols you can use and it is hit or miss with bt adapters.
I do not believe they will show what you need; you just need to drive it a few cycles.
