When the belt breaks, engine will stop.
Putting engine damage topic on the side, it will be hazard for everyone on the road.
You will lose power steering, vacuum assisted braking, engine power, etc.
You might get stuck in the middle of the highway...potentially getting rear ended.
If the timing belt is neglected, other things are probably neglected.
This is a 4-5hrs highway drive. Not just some local 30mins drive.
What is your life worth?
