my other 98 has the matrix and is fine...I would take it back. Tint only last about 10 to 12 years anyways...From what my car has done.

Im curious to see how many of you have put some type of tint on your ES since purchasing? I have been putting off tinting this car, because I honestly don't see alot of them with tint. Every car I have owned prior the first thing I did was tint and alarm, yet most of the 3ES I see driving around seem stock on the glass.

i don't see why people would not tint their cars.
with the windows tinted the car simply look cleaner and it's more comfortable inside

The PO had the back side windows and back glass tinted. It might look slick, but it's terrible at night trying to back up or park. I don't do much night driving in town, so it's not a big deal on the highway. It does keep the car a bit cooler in summer, but I'm in Canada, not Florida, so that's no real plus either. I'd take it off, but I'm afraid of breaking the rear window antenna or heater wires. It compliments the black paint though.

I have 20% all around, best decision I ever made for the car.

It is so nice to have when the sun is out full blast, plus it protects the interior leather.

20% FTW. check my sig. have a 20% brow on the windshield too.

I went 35% all around to give it a clean OEM look, I would recommend 20% all around. I personally think the windshield strip looks cheesy, but it does help the sun glare for sure.

thanks for the feedback. Most of the ES that I see with tint on are 35 all around.

I got 35% for the front windshield, 20% for the front sides , 5% for all the rears

No, he probably got confused with windows.. there's no ticket for blue tinted mirrors. I've seen them on TL's and Benz's.
