noise behind dashboard area stops after 5 min of driving

I have a 2006 Lexus ES 330. When I start the car and drive for 5-10 min there is an annoying noise that seems to be coming somewhere behind the dashboard. It sounds like Morse code.It stops after a few minutes and does not come back even if you drive for an hour. However, once you turn the car off and on again it starts. There are no warning lights on and car runs perfectly - the noise is just annoying. It is not anything to do with the A/C or radio because whether they are off or on it acts the same. What could this be?
