What is the best year to buy a used Lexus ES350? Will it be dependable like my two sister-in-laws, or a repair headache?

I've been wondering the same thing. With strong bargaining power, I think getting a new one may be the wisest as the low mileage used are still pricey in my area.

If you're looking 2013+, don't buy a L Certified example. You're going to be overcharged.

A lot of dealerships are selling these with "structural damage" meaning that there were panels replaced besides the bumpers.

You can get one of these at an extremely discounted rate and if you feel more comfortable, add in a very good extended warranty and still pay less.
