Does the button in the instrument cluster in the 2000 Lexus ES300 reset the odometer?

Yeah, it'll reset the trip odometers A and B. Short/instant press to change between A, B, and lifetime; hold to reset current odo.

The only reason I'm asking is that I just got this car a couple days ago and I wasn't sure if it'll reset the whole odometer.

no, it will not reset main odometer, just trip ones.
