Paintwork is all in the prep.
You can pay the cheap places a few hundred and they'll scuff your old paint and spray on some new paint.
You can pay the good places a few thousand and they'll mask, sand, prime, paint, clear, polish, and have it last.
It is your car and your money, so you can choose to save money and have it look good from 100 ft or spend money and have it look great from 1 ft.
Wherever you decide to go, make sure to take care of the new paint as it will be very sensitive for a few months while it cures.

The car is meticulously maintained however the paint job is now showing signs of its age. My mechanic states I could get 100,000 more miles on it but I need to decide if the old car is worth a new paint job (and not a poor job on a LEXUS) or invest in a year or two in a new lexus and probably a SUV. GOod to get an idea of cost and decide if the car is worth the price
