Nixsun, take a look at the ES300 pic gallery(Ghetto-pimp's car). He used Eibach springs(Pro-Kit I believe) with stock struts. Lowered him 2" in front and 1" in back. I think he's got as clean a stance as I've seen on an ES with 18" rims!

I found this guy on ebay that has 10 sets of the Tein S-Tech springs selling for $140.00 +$30.00 shipping and handling. This is the cheapest I have seen them anywhere. Part #SKL16-AUB00. Anyone know where to get them from a merchant for that much? I don't like buying stuff of ebay if I don't have to.

It's done, I just purchased the KYB GR-2 stuts and some Tein S-Tech springs. I got the complete set for $435.oo w/shipping. All I have to do know is wait for them to come in and pay close to $300 for the install, dam that's a lot of money for an install. Total will be close to $735.oo, I could have gotten a set of rims for that price . Oh well, I really think that cars with rims and no drops looks like shiz anyways. Next project rims. One question I have, Does the size of the rim matter now that I am getting a 1.7" front drop and 1.4" rear drop? I was planning on 18"rims.

Big Ups to all those that have helped me through this purchase!!

Size of rim may matter on an 18" wheel/tire setup. Probably won't matter much on a 17" cause you're going up 2 steps. What you have to watch is the diameter of the tire. Your sidewall will get smaller as your wheel diameter gets bigger. I forgot our stock wheel diameter but you don't want to be much over it as it will also affect your speedometer if you are.

Nixsun, post some pics when you get her done up. A local performance shop quoted me $450 parts/labor to lower my ES with springs. They claim it will be about 1.5". I will only go with Eibach or HR. Thats enough for me because I have a family of 4.

Sure thing, A local speed shop just quoted me $150 for the install. They had a bunch of GS3's slammed out front, so hopefully they will do a good job. I'm still waiting for the shipment to come in, but as soon as it done I will post some pics.

Maybe some of you could help me on another topic, click the link below to be taken to the thread.

rivera156, I have yet to install the springs, I am still waiting on a set of struts that I seem to be getting ripped off from ebay. I purchased almost 1 month ago and the guy has yet to send my struts and keeps giving me sorry excuses. Right now I am waiting for the money to be credited back to my account from the bank. Gotta love total security protection, aside from the fact that it could take up to a month. At least I still get my money back. As soon as I get the stuff installed I will post some pics. As far as purchasing the springs, you can get the application that is made for the 2000+ camry solara V6. I got them off of ebay for $140,+ $30 shipping and handling. The guy I dealt with sent the items right out and I got them within a week. If you want his contact information, send me a PM and I will get it to you. I have also found a new place to get the KYB GR2 Struts from. I haggled with the seller and worked them down to $281.oo shipped, for a set of 4. They were origonally asking $274.99 and $35 for shipping. I can give you this contact info as well. I don't know any part #'s off hand, I can check the Tein box to see if anything is on there. Read my sig for the specs on the drop.

Nice lowering job! Boy does that look better. How big is the difference in ride? Handling?

You need to get clear corners now!

no it wont look weird at all.... in fact it would look extremely hot!! especially with 19's. They are couple members here with the 1.8 drop in front and 1 in the back that looks great with 18's.... El Gato, HoeBag, Smitty, Nixsun, and Tiguy99 have 18's with a drop looks 10x better when dropped.......

Iv dropped my ES 50mm using King Springs, they are an australian made spring and are really popular here (New Zealand), cost me NZ$500 for 4 springs fitted and wheel alignment - looks pretty good on the factory rims but will be getting some well needed 18's or 19's soon as fund allow it - pics to follow
