2003 Es300 Lexus
have 150k mile on my lexus, my son was driving he has no idea when low engine oil light turned on, but now starter makes smooth spinning noise but engine does not crank up and wont start. AutoZone checked starter motor is fine, any idea ignition cut off or fuel?

If the motor spins freely, a broken timing belt or loss of belt tension would be at the top of my suspect list.
It is not clear to me if the oil warning was leading or coincident with the no-start so I am discounting that based on the description.

The spinning noise could be the starter spinning when you attempt to crank. The solenoid could be stuck causing the starter teeth not to engage the flywheel. Try giving the starter a few good whacks to see if that clears it up.
