Default Mystery Wire Harness, any idea if its a dummy or where it should connect?

Hey guys, got a 1999 Lexus ES 300. See that white wire harness to the very left of the black tube that says CO? Its in between firewall and engine, right next to engine coil #1. Is that supposed to be connected into anything? I cannot find a port for it to connect to anywhere near it? Thinking it might be a dummy connector? If anyone knows where it should be plugged in, and or its function please let me know. Thanks

A little tough to tell from this picture without referencing my own car. There are "dummy" connectors by the strut towers for the optional Electronic Suspension, however yours looks to be closer to the middle of the engine bay. That may be the connector for the rear oxygen sensor. Do you have any Check Engine Light codes?

I'm also thinking it might be the pressure sensor for the power steering pump, I know it's nearby in that area. Need to take a look under the hood to verify.

it is in the middle area of the engine bay. I thought the same thing about 02 sensor. I have been having issues with cel code p0171 which is a lean code in bank 1 sensor 1. I found the upstream rear o2 sensor and was able with my hand to feel that it was connected from engine to plug correctly. This mystery harness is driving me crazy. I want to know what its purpose is but for the life of me cannot find where it plugs into.

Keep in mind my ES is from 1998, so the engine harness could be different. The only thing remotely close is the power steering pressure switch.
