Hello,

I just purchased my first Lexus, a 2003 ES300 which I already love. However, the radio and memory seats seem not to work, the radio doesn't turn on, and the memory seats don't work either.
The sunroof didn't work properly but I read somewhere if you open it all the way and close it all the way it works normal again and it did. Is there anything I can maybe do to the radio and the memory seats to see if they are just not programmed?
Also the A/C unit Auto button seems not to be automatic, it just turns on to whatever it was before, could this be because the sensor is not there? (because the outside temp is not displayed I have to replace)

Check your fuses. Quick and easy to do.

I checked the fuses like you suggested and still, nothing.

Seperately, Where these problems disclosed to you before you purchased? If no,ask the previous owner if this has been an ongoing issue, If this was a retail sale ask the dealer for help. Unfortunately, there are limited options when purchasing an older used car. Caveat emptor

read your other thread. this is classic power starvation. not enough power to run everything so some things start randomly shutting down.

My mechanic fixed the radio! It was a blown fuse, apparently the fuse I checked were wrong. The memory seat might be disconnected from inside the door. And we located where the cable was cutoff for the ambient climate sensor. I'll see where I can find one.
