Car all of a sudden started running like junk, sputtering, dying out at idle, missing, and jerking at speed. Pulled codes above, did my google searches and watched the youtube videos, ordered both the Bank #1 and Bank #2 Dorman VVT Solenoids off of Amazon and waited for the parts. Literally took me more time to crack a beer, get my tools out and take the plastic engine cover off than it did to actually change out the solenoid. I was WAY past due for an oil change and I was 2 qts low to boot but I don't think that caused it. I have had very intermittent problems with this in the past but it always cleared up. I think the cold weather kicked off this latest bad round of symptoms. I bought both solenoids since I figure it is only a matter of time for the other one and that will be the hard one to change against the firewall.
One was $38.99 and one was $40.15 off of Amazon and free shipping since I have Prime. Didn't even check local stores.
Next job is the valve cover gaskets that are leaking and the timing belt, etc.
