I have an 1997 Lexus ES300 and the steering wheel and ignition locked up on me. I have tried all the tricks I've seen on the internet but none of them worked. Please help, I don't know what to do.

What have you tried exactly? Does the car start and run?

No I can't get it to turn on, the ignition is locked up. I tried pulling the steering wheel hard in both directions and trying to turn the key. I tried disconnecting the battery for a while then triying the key again but nothing.

I guess anti theft steering wheel locked might have triggered. With key in, hold the steering wheel by hand, try to turn on the ignition while turning the steering wheel towards LEFT by little force.

Yeah I tried doing that already but it's still locked. Is there any way to remove the ignition switch to disable the anti theft on it?

Have someone rock the car back and forth, while you try to unlock the ignition by turning the steering wheel as you did.

Also, do you have another key you can try ?

I tapped the key while in the ignition then took it out and sprayed a small amount of wd-40, and it worked like nothing ever happened.
