Just picked up a very decent set of MCV21 tails for $100. I've always loved how they looked and it was a deal I couldn't pass up (considering full sets on eBay are about $250).

I haven't installed them yet because I was doing a little reading and saw that the wiring harnesses do not match up.
The part number is 81675-33160 and the price for EACH is $30 on average.

Do I need to get the harness or is there a way I can splice into the existing one?
Would the splicing just be a matter of trial and error to see what wire matches up with what?

EDIT: Is it possible to solder a 97-99 harness (god bless pick-n-pulls) onto the new lights--as in will certain lights not work?
