I did a little Tune Up to my 2000 ES and it runs a lot smoother
2000 es with 129k miles. I noticed it just wasn't running as smooth as a Lexus should. It was shifting a little rough, accelerating slow and braking like ****. So I did a few things...
Put a new OEM Pcv valve
Flushed and replaced all fluids
Changed all brake pads and had my rotors done. The rear pads were the originals lol
Replaced the air filter
I try to change the air filter every few oil changes or so it wasn't disgusting or anything. I would have to pull up the service records to see the last time the fluids were touched, but I got the car with about 90,000 miles and this was the first time I did it. Maybe I'll just start flushing the fluids every year...
I also did the spark plugs and oil control valves at 120k miles. And the starter just a few months before that. So she's had some nice, fresh parts all done this year. I don't think I've put any non OEM under the hood either!
