I have an es300 and would like to know what parts can be exchange from an es300 '97-99. i am looking to replace the seats in my 96.

new to lexus and want to keep mine running!

I also have a '96 and I am also brand new to Lexus. As a matter of fact, the last Toyota product I owned was a Tercel like 23 years ago.

I was in a salvage yard just this past weekend. There are major differences between our '96 and the '97. There wasn't much that matched superficially because the body seemed to be completely redesigned in 1997. This is pure conjecture based on my own casual visual study. I could be wrong, so if anyone else can chime in on this I would appreciate knowing what's compatible myself.

As far as the seats go, my interior also needs replacing and I'm considering just having my seats recovered. My interior is unique(it's a "chocolate" hue that I can't find referenced ANYWHERE). Not to steal this thread, but I was wondering if anyone has experience going to an upholsterer.

hopefully you are located near the tri-state area pa, nj, ny. there is a yard in Hazleton, pa that may have the chocolate seat in suede. it is a 97-98 lexus. it is a great place to visit and learn about car, since you take the parts out yourself. I saw the car there and unfortunately the aisle where is located, will be clean out to place new incoming foreign cars, but I may be a while, I do not know exactly when it will be removed. the yard is off interstate 81, exit 145. Harry's you pull it.

I am a Volvo for life owner, but the lexus landed on my path and I could not refused the challenge to see it running before it hit the yard. everyone deserves a chance of life!
