My 1997 Es 300 trunk won't open
Hello everyone, I own a 1997 Lexus ES 300. I usually unlock my car manually with a valiet key on the passenger door. This time the key got stuck in the middle & I couldn't insert the key all the way anymore. So for the 1st time I tried the valiet key on my driver side door it unlocked my door but set off the alarm. My 1st decision was to start the car, so I did & ever since then I can't open my trunk from the switch.
Yes I know about the button in the glove compartment. Neither of my keys will open my trunk by the way.

Maybe the car had its locks changed at some point and they didn't do the trunk. Either way, it sounds like your door locks need cleaning. Get some graphite spray, spray it inside and then insert and remove the key multiple times. Reapply the spray again and scrape out the bottom of the lock with a bent paper clip, this might help you to be able to use your keys. You might want to order new ones, I just got some from 1010keys on ebay. You can get 2 keys cut and shipped for under $ 20
