Default 05 ES330 front left knocking noise. Please help.

I have a very loud knocking noise coming from the front left of my ES.
A few months ago I hit a fairly large pothole on the highway. Hard enough to cause a large bubble in the side of my tire. Which has since been replaced.
Since then I have had a knocking noise coming from that side. At first it wasn't bad. It was only noticeable when going over bumps or other potholes. It has since gotten worse. It very loud and very noticeable even when driving on seemingly smooth roads.
Does anyone know what could be damaged?
I don't know the most about cars but enough to do the job myself as long as I can figure out what's wrong.
I just replaced all my rortors and brake pads and couldn't see anything that looked off to me.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could be a strut but try looking at the swaybar endlink first

rock the car from side to side. I bet the shock is floating free in the bottom of the strut housing, happens all the time. I'd explain why but it's quite boring, if that knock is present during quite violent side to side rocking (by you), it might be time for a new set of front shocks (always replace in pairs).

I would echo checking the swaybar endlinks. You have to jack up both sides of the car (or put it on a lift) so both wheels are unloaded and the bar is not twisted, and it can still be hard to find.

Also consider the upper mount.

It could have been impacted hard enough to wreck the bearings and/or race. This is a common failure on cars driven a lot in urban areas with bad roads from the jackhammering from potholes. If the endlink diagnosis doesn't show the problem, look at that. FYI, best not to use aftermarket mounts (Monroe, KYB). The factory ones are pricier but have a much lower failure rate than the aftermarket ones.

1. Swaybar endlinks
2. Ball joints
3. Tie rods
4. Strut mounts
