Greetings to All,

Can anyone advise on which is the best (and easiest to install) trailer hitch and trailer light wiring setup for my 2003 ES 300?

There's a couple of options for you listed here on Hitchwebs website: 2003 Lexus ES 300 Trailer Hitches.
I would recommend going with the Hidden Hitch as there is no drilling required and takes 15 minutes to install.

As for the wiring, unfortunately there is no direct plug in available for your vehicle so it would have to be hardwired in. Normally, this takes about an hour to install however if you are not familiar with wiring I would take it to a professional. Here is the link: 2003 Lexus ES 300 Circuit Protected Modulite

Fortunately I've been a ham radio operator since 1959 and up until my recent retirement I spent the last 15 years as a broadcast TV engineer. That doesn't mean I won't mess up the wiring, it just means I'll try to do it myself before asking advice.... The hitch sounds much easier to install than I imagined. Thanks again.
