Default Really Loud Fuel Injector

I've determined that the loud ticking coming from my ES is in fact one of the injectors. I used a stethoscope to identify the culprit...definitely not the valve but the injector for sure.

SO, is there anything I can do to silence this thing? I can live with the ticking knowing that it's not a valve, but if there's anything simple that can be done I'd be willing to try. Already put a treatment of Techron concentrate in it to start, but it really didn't do anything.

Thanks in advance,.

I would just replace the ticking injector or remove it and have it cleaned/rebuilt.
I use BG fuel system cleaner (hard to find) and it works well for TOTAL fuel system maintenance.

Are you referring to the BG44K Fuel System Cleaner specifically? Not sure I want to deal with de-pressurizing the fuel system and taking the fuel rails off, etc., but I might try a can of this stuff and see what happens.

Put on exhaust system, it will have a rumble and you won't hear ticking anymore

De-pressuring the fuel system is easy. Remove the injectors, the pressure will leak out, there's nearly no volume behind that pressure so very little fuel will come out (70ml).

A can of stuff will probably not fix a mechanical fault with an injector's gate.

If you do end up taking it apart it's worth it to replace the o-rings with viton o-rings, the toyota ones are just nitrate ones.

I've decided to leave well enough alone. The consensus of the people I have spoken to have basically told me that if an injector is noisy, that just mean's it's working...Too many articles about fuel injectors don't go bad, etc...And it definitely is the injector not a valve as confirmed by my original post. I'll deal with the tick-tick.
