Default Rear wheel noise

I replaced the complete strut assemblies on my sons 98 es 300. He still has a clunking noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel when driving. I grabbed the tire and I could replicate the noise by pulling the top of the tire outward and releasing. I was thinking wheel bearing due to the play. I raised it up and could not get the tire to move when up in the air. I then went to the other side and it was now allowing me to move the tire as on the passenger side. Didn't do this before. Lower the vehicle and I can get the passenger side tire to have play but the driver side was solid again. Checked the bushings on the laterals and trailing arms all look good. Thoughts? Ps I did replace the sway bar bushings and end links when I did the struts.
