Getting through the Firewall

Alright, so I have had a few projects going on for my ES this winter but I have run into a slight problem. What's the best way to get through the firewall on a 92 ES with limited tools (no ratchet set) and time? I have a nitrous line and battery cable that I'm going to need to get through there before the weather gets warm. I took a glance and saw a lot of bolts that I didnt want to take off and find that I removed the wrong ones. Suggestions anyone?

If you want a cleaner install, I'd suggest running those wires through the fender, which will require your taking the fender liner off, thus, a bit more work. I did this to route the wires for a remote mount radar detector I have under the front bumper. Otherwise, you can locate the rubber grommet/boot for the steering shaft and poke a hole through there. Typically, you can drill a hole through the firewall where the clutch is at, but since you have a 5-speed, that isn't possible anymore.

Hmmmm..my fender liners are already off -- might just do that method.

There are grommets also that connect to the interior inside the fender, so you can always cut an opening. Then, you can either run the cables through the wire holder (if big enough), or just zip tie them.

Thanks a lot for the advice, man. I'll let you know how everything turns out. I have about 15 days to get ready to hit the 1/4 mile.
