A nice 2002 es 300 has turned up at a Lexus agency near me. They have it listed for $9,995. Despite the car having been local and originally bought from the same dealer, and having been gone through by the dealership, it seems a bit high to me for a 12 year old car with 70,000 miles on it. Of course this will be my first Lexus purchase if I get it. So any input and help would be appreciated. Last time I posted I was interested in a similar car with 49,900 miles that was over $11,000. So this one is cheaper, has a bit more mileage, but it's from a dealer so again, price negotiation help much appreciated.

Incidentally I would be trading in an 03 Saturn Ion 3 with all options and only 79,000 miles on it. They told me previously $2000 for it. I don't feel like selling it myself at this point.

Still a bit high on the price but it can be a fair deal if the timing belt has already been changed.

It is all about condition and service history. $9,000 would be OK if the car was over the moon good.
