OK Ladies (and the Gentlemen), please do me a favor by doing the following in your (preferably 92-96) ES300.

turn car on, make sure temperature gauge is "normal." Either keep your door open or windows rolled down so you can hear. Push that round **** for A/C auto on, I usually have it set to about 75 or so but that shouldnt really matter too much. Now, tell me how many seconds it takes for the compressor to start compressing?? You know, that "clunk and whirl" sound that comes from the engine bay...
