Where is left kick panel fuse box 2002 ES300

I'm trying to find the left kick panel on my 2002 ES300. I've attached photos of known fuse box locations and also a photo of where "I think it should be" The problem with my suspected location is that the carpeting is glued to the plastic black cover (if it is the correct location). Please help. My goal is to replace the turn signal flasher (not fuse) with a new one.

That is indeed the left kick panel (the black panel). You will have to remove the door trim piece (that the red arrow is on). This is connected to the weather strip that goes around the inside of the door but you can separate the two. The black panel is held in on one side by two clips that just pull right out. I'll upload a picture in a moment. I also assume you mean the flasher relay?

The two clips I was referring to were the white one and the black straight clip just left of the emergency brake. To my knowledge you can't remove the panel completely but the best you can do it have the emergency brake off and pull it back gave me plenty of access to the flasher relay. I apologize for image quality this was taken with my ipod.

Thanks for the clarification. What threw me off was that halfway down, the carpet was glued (pretty good) to the panel. I did see the two clips which came off easy. And yes, I am going to replace the flasher module. I recently purchased a custom module that will "beep" when the turn signal is on. Like others, not having the "clicking" sound caused me to forget that my signal was on. I travel a lot now in Dallas after being a country bumpkin for the past few years. Thanks again for your response and photo.

Here's something I did not expect...

1. Where are the screws to remove the trim?

2. The black cover is screwed down on the body...Unfortunately, the head to the screw is in the
wheel well (I think) on NOT IN THE CAR:sad:

Suggestions?

The trim in the left picture that runs along the bottom of the door just pops up and has 3 white circular clips if I remember correctly. You can either use a plastic trim removal tool or start from the inside of the car towards the pillar. As for the screw I'm not sure, I didn't remove it when I took the picture and was just easily able to access the relay. I can take a look later today on my 2003 if you would like.
