1990 ES250 odd Water temp sensor issues

Pulled and tested the thermostat. Let it boil for a bit to make sure, but never opened. Tight fit, my hands are a bit mangled, but learned a new trick.
Thanks Lexus2000 for the advise.
Look forward to doing my part if I can in assisting others, but with my classic not sure If I'll be able to keep up.

Oh and the issue here seems to have been two fold. My relay for fan#2 is bad and probably has been bad since got the car 2-3 months ago. Took the thermo going out to find that though, so right now fans running all the time. No one here on Maui can find the right relay seems to come closest to some fuel relay. Going Amazon here I think.
