NEW TOYS! So i got my hands on some of the discontinued SPL Premier Series 12" subwoofers. These subs are COMPLETELY different from the regular crappy pioneer subs the sound and pressure from these subs are quite impressive. Got a custom ported enclosure built for them and did the install. The rubber started to come off the surround of one so I scraped the rubber off both to make them uniform and it kinda had a snakeskin look to it I liked.

Because who needs trunkspace? lol

Here's a video of them in action, obviously couldn't crank all the way up becasue of the hour I got finished installing but i have a love hate relationship with how the ES/Windoms hold sound, had to keep upgrading to get any real pressure in the cabin of the car, but there's not much road noise as you can see from lack of trunk rattle and it keeps the sound clean. You can hear the immediate difference when the camera goes from outside to inside the car, also that sexyblueness flashing in the back is a 10farad Tsunami Capacitor I installed prior to upgrading the subs *watch in 720p*

Still on the hunt for the perfect rims I coped some alloy 20's with a nicely polished lip that I ended up once again never putting on the car.

Also had another set of chrome Panther 20's come my way

But they looked better on my friends Altima so off they went

I guess while we're on the topic of wheels...

some rims I got for my uncle's Caddy

Random old schools that need new homes lol

MORE TOYS! I've bin back and forth with audio equipment trying to decide exactly what kinda of sound I want and finally settled on my amp, had it ordered+shipped over, definitely one of the best purchases I've made to date.

RE Audio XTX5000.1 Monoblock Amplifier

Time to Install:

Out with the old

In with the new

Tidy up a bit

Quick test on the way to work the next morning - BIG difference in sound quality:

Had a bit to much fun with the new amp and underestimated the awesome that is RE Audio, blew a fuse and completely fried the old amp wire, always promised to upgrade to 0Gauge and i guess there is a sign.

Upgraded to 0Gauge wire all around and also got my hands on a pair of Kicker 12" L7 subwoofers I swapped for the Pioneers. The grill had some vomit paint job done to it and the enclosure was garbage so i cleaned them up and swapped them into a proper ported enclosure. Made a big difference in the sound quality. They were also only running single coil @ 4ohms so i redid the wiring in the new bin and got them down to 1ohm.
