Looks great! Glad you got a good deal on the right tire. How do the Ventus ride? And tread noise is OK?

Thanks! They're very sticky and confidence inspiring. I can hear pebbles hitting my wheel wells while pulling out of my driveway - which rarely happened with other tires. The initial noise level is higher than from my super soft Michelin winter tires, but it's tolerable. I'm still getting a feel for them, only made a couple of trips so far. I was trying to take on/off ramps as fast as I could, but there were always cars in the way. I'm pretty blown away by the performance, at the moment.

Thank you! I'm always amazed by how much a set of wheels can influence a car's appearance, be it good or bad. I feel like these wheels took 10 years off the car's age.

I agree, more so when they're OEM wheels too, I find. A newer set of OE wheels will take years off the look like you say.

oh ok. i still see a pretty significant gap. i thought the nf210 gives a more aggressive drop than that?

It's a big difference vs stock. I didn't measure the original ride height, but visually the front was much higher. Did some tweaking with Photobucket to give you a better idea.

Stock.

With Tanabe Springs

Also, keep in mind that the camera was positioned almost completely in line with the wheel, so the gap appears larger than it actually is. I like that the fender line matches the curvature of the tire, if that makes sense.

Did you notice any difference in handling? Is the steering stiffer with the larger wheels?

I noticed the steering much stiffer when I had 17" IS300 rims on my Camry.

I think I did notice a difference. The other day I was driving and it felt like the steering was much faster at coming back to center. It's a slight change.

What do you mean? The 17" wheels are spotless.
