Security System Going Crazy

So today my es300s security system has been going crazy. First off all the thing is sometimes itll be completely normal, other times itll freak out. When its going weird, if i press the unlock button on the remote, that button will work fine, but the lock button wont work. If i try again and press the lock button first, the unlock button wont work. itll last a few minutes then go back to normal. Once im inside the car, i put my key in the ignintion and start it, the doors lock. As im driving, the locks will either do nothing, or start locking and keep trying to lock. The security light when im driving is off. When i take out the key, its blinking, if i press the Lock button, it stays lit for 30 seconds, then blinks as it normally would. Any input would be great I am not sure if this is related, but 2 lights on the trunk lid above the reverse lights are out. All the other lights are fine. Any input would really be appreciated. This is the first time its done this. I also tried using all 3 keys each one with the same issue.

Unplug your battery for a couple hours dude that solves issues like this a lot of the time. Another thing is make sure everything closes tightly the hood and trunk mainly. Oh make sure you know your radio code before doing this if you even have a security lock on it.

Agreed. My Avalon decided to bug out friday after i got it tinted. I'd go to unlock the car, Hit the unlock button on my remote, lights flash and i hear the beep but the doors are still locked. then my front passenger door lock switch decided to go on vacation for a few hours because that **** would not work at all. and everytime i shut that door the locks would cycle. i pulled the battery terminal off for 10 seconds, and stuck it back on and everything works again... strange.....:confused:

I pulled the battery, but only for a few minutes and it din't do anything. Maybe I'll just do it for a little longer. I think I will just end up trading this in soon and get a newer 2005-2006 es330 for my brother to use instead of giving him this one (like this body style so much more though)

Well I've been driving the car all day and nothing, guess the car fixed itself? I didn't disconnect the battery either

Check all your lock actuators inside doors. They tend to fail over time and if one starts acting up intermittently the whole system goes crazy.

All of them are still moving, I'm assuming when they break they just stop moving? Cause I haven't noticed that is there another way to see them going bad?

In my case they start failing intermittently. For instance, on a hot summer day the driver's door lock stopped moving and the next morning it worked normally. Of course if your locks are moving properly all the time then you might have a different problem unrelated to this.
