Believe it or not I get all my work on my ES330 done at my local Chrysler dealership. Despite selling the cheapest cars on the road, this dealership has stellar mechanics. Done right the first time, on time and for waaaaay less.

Timing Belt Replacement 2005 ES330: Who is the most economical and reliable service center in northern Virginia for this service?

Today, I just got my 2005 ES330's timing belt, water pump, oil and filter change and spark plug replacement done for $790 at a local Midas. I provided oil, oil filter and spark plugs so total cost was about $860. I could've done spark plugs myself but after going through 4 hours on my previous RX to replace spark plugs, I just decided pass up on my ES since I was getting timing belt/water pump replaced anyways.

I've been procrastinating on timing belt/water pump and it was finally replaced at 115K. The car ran still like a new one even until dropping off at the local midas. I am pretty sure it would've run without replacing them many months more but I might have been very lucky. who knows.

Same car here - I'm going to need to replace my timing belt within the next 6 months. My Lexus dealer told me for the timing belt, water pump, and labor the total would be $1035. Yes, that is pricey. I will say, though, I used to own a Camry and when I needed the belt and water pump replaced, I paid $800. For me personally, I would splurge and have it done at the dealer for an extra hundred or two because the experience/treatment you get at a Lexus dealer is like royalty, they give you a brand new Lexus to drive for the duration of the job (whenever I bring my car in for service and get a loaner, I always tell them I'll be back the next day to pick up my car. I don't want to give back the GS350 loaner they gave me so fast!) and they're service/parts have a warranty should anything go wrong. It's really or a piece of mind having it done at a Lexus dealer. The car isn't getting any newer, and I'd like to have it properly maintained. Good luck!

Agreed. That's the whole reason I bought two lexus so far just because of their customer service and their workmanship. I am not sure why cost varies so much but my dealer gave me a $900 just for timing belt. Knowing the labor is mostly the same adding water pump replacement but with parts it would've cost me additional #300 at least. I needed to get spark plugs and oil replaced, I didn't want to spend additional +$500 while I ended up paying $860/w tax at the midas. Anyways, I love getting my car worked on at Lexus but sometimes, it is just too pricy and I am glad I have other options to consider.
