o ok...i ordered the part just in case but i will go buy the filter tomorrow and replace it. no maintenance history on it (long story)

i replaced the filter and the check engine light came back on. then i replaced the valve and 200 miles later the cel hasn't come back on!!!!!

Glad to hear. I'd imagine the car now runs like it's suppose to, I know on mine I have to occasionally check the tach to make sure it's still running... pretty smooth for a 14 year old car!
