I coworker of mine was buying a Prius and trading in his 97 ES300. Carmax offered him $1000 and he was going to take it, so I bought it from him for $1300. It's a 1997 ES300 with 160,000 miles on it. Options are: Power moonroof, CD Changer, heated seats, tan leather. Heated seats don't work.

Here are my issues:
1) Check Engine Lights: P0420, P0450, P0301
2) There is a small exhaust leak somewhere that I can hear when accelerating. Could this be the cause of P0420 or P0450?

What things should I check and what parts am I going to need? I'm trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible.

Fix the exhaust leak first and go from there. Until the leak is fixed, you probably won't get anywhere trying to address any other codes that are popping up.
