Default 03 Lexus ES300: Need Help!

03 ES300
My car won't start

I checked the battery, connections, put a new battery, made sure my car was in park, tried a neutral start, tried to jump start....

nothing works

when i turn the key over - there is no clicking noise...the lights on the instrument panel dim, the clock dims, and there is a humming sound (guessing that's the fuel pump trying to engage)

Please help..Thanks!

I believe that's a symptom of a faulty starter. Get it looked at.

Tap the starter firmly with the end of a broom stick.(but not too hard). See if it will now start.

Unless the motor siezed for some reason. The starter is pretty easy to get out. Might want to make sure the starter didn't get stuck as well. Jack the car up, take off the passanger front wheel, take off the splash gaurd and turn the motor over by hand. I believe it's a 22mm socket.
