No, mine is the same. I was sure that the reinforced heel pad was 'normal' but i guess not.

My black ones came like that, its a different more durable material than the rest of the mat too!

I have black mats with the heel pads, the originals from brand new. Best way to wash it is with a hose or pressure wash it. Then again with black, it really just needs a vacum and youre good.
