Default '95 es300 replacing map light

I have an LED light I'd lake to put in the map light. I did the same already for the dome light and it's much cooler / brighter.

As for the map light, I can't seem to get the clear plastic cover off. I don't see any visible tabs like on the dome light, and when I push on the clear plastic (even up) the entire fixture moves, making me think that it won't come out that easily.

I checked ebay and found the fixture, Perhaps I should be trying to pull that metal tab to get the entire fixture off? I'm not sure how that tab clips in, so I don't really know how to remove it.

Does anyone have experience changing the map bulb? I looked at a different post on here and the guys just said take the clear plastic off with a screwdriver, which I'm unable to do.

thanks!

I've done LED swaps for all the lights in my car. Are you talking about the overhead light in the front seat or the back seat? Either way, there should be a tiny slot on one of the sides. Stick a small flathead or knife in there to pry it off. The plastic piece just pops off, there are no screws involved.

It has been a while since I did my '94 but it was a pain to figure out the first time. More than just the lens comes off.

Hey could you tell me what size bulb that is? I can't for the life of me find them anywhere.
