Agreed, too big of tire. What year of LS are the wheels off of?

? Not sure the year of the Ls. 225/55/17 have a .89" taller sidewall and 1.77" taller overall height then a 225/45/17. Hmmmm? I'm doing struts all the way around this weekend and was Gunna try and throw these on. All I can do is try em I guess. If I have to get tires I will. The $ I got them for would have been a deal for just runs alone!

They came off a 2000 Ls400. I got a lot of room around the stock 205/65/15s. I think it'll b close.

There will be a 1.25" difference in overall height - the LS tires are bigger. At 62 mph, you will actually be going 65, and at 81 it will be 85. Your odometer will be off as well. It will indicate 950, after 1000 miles. Unless you're into that kind of thing, sell them or give them away.

Odometer doesn't bother me at all. I put them in last nite. Fit in the front but not in the rear. New struts all the way around , new swaybar links and bushings, new inner and outer tie rod ends, new balljoints, and then off for tires that will fit. I can do all my own work thank god!$!$! Except the tires of course. It's my wife's car. New rims are Msw type 20. Thanks guys.

You will need spacers at the very least.

Well did all the suspension work. Sucked! And got some 215/55/17. They work great. Now I have trac off blinking and abs light. Guess I wasn't as carfull as I thought doing the struts. I'll have to dig in to the abs issue next weekend. My wife's Ed is riding like a dream now though!

Interesting set of wheels, they don't look as bad as I thought. Do you have more shots?

They are nothing special but the stocks have been taking a salty winter beating for years and it was time for a upgrade. It's my wife's daily driver and she could care less.

Nothing good with the front end! Lol. Just a car bra and some ghetto blasted headlights. Thing had done front end damage when I bought it and I just got the bra instead of a bumper cover + paint. My wife is not the best driver in the world. She already would have messed up the bumper but the bra is still in tact. Lol. Im a truck guy but I do like this es and it's been a fun lil project.

Might start a new thread about the abs issue after the strut install but I know I'm Gunna have to do a sensor or sensors. Which 1 or 1s is what I need to find out. Search pulled up a lot of others the abs/trac blinking after strut install.
