Default 2005 ES-330 front squeak

There is a squeak/rattle from the front left suspension. Car drives well without any "bouncing". Something loose perhaps? Any common issues to look for before I lift it?

Thanks

I can't think of a common part failure on the front of these that results in a "squeak." There are others where this is common with a control arm bushing, trailing arm bushing, etc. Obviously inspect bushings while checking.

The sway bar bushings shouldn't do it, and they are exceedingly difficult to get out. Someone else was complaining about it just a month ago. I would not worry about them. I would start with the common diagnoses routine. Jack it up and spin the wheel while grasping the coil. This is very good for detecting bearing issues. Afterwards, try rocking the wheel with both hands.

a) Rocking only horizontally 3/9 o'clock is usually tie rod,
b) Rocking vertically (6/12 o'clock hold) is ball joint related,
c) "Rocking around the clock" is bearings or bearings + combination of the above.

Given how many varied ways a bearing can fail, I'd suspect that at the top of the list. Also check your CV boots are intact and it's not axle related.

Thanks. I haven't had it on a lift yet and doing the typical rocking etc. while on the ground nothing "seems" excessive. If I recall correctly I read a post and it said something about greasing some bushings?

Appreciate your feedback!

Also check the stabilizer bar link as it may be the source of a rattle which is hard to pinpoint. Grab the link and try to move it around, it should feel tight and require some pressure to manipulate. A worn link will feel sloppy and have little resistance.
