Default Curious of your opinions

Ok so I love the es300 and want to make it faster and I still have time to decide if I'm gonna do this or not but wanted your guys opinions. When it's paid off and I get another car I wanna do a rear wheel swap for it and drop a v8 into it just to make it a silent killer what are your opinions??

^^^^^ Agreed

You want a V8, buy an LS400. Or buy a Supra and drop a 1uzfe or some other V8 into it.

I gotta ask, what is your car background and what level of experience do you have?

And FYI, I know of a JZ Solara that actually is driven on the street, so anything is possible. It;s all about if you have the knowhow and resources to do something.

Time is money. I don't doubt someone would do that, but still, so much work, and body mods to make a V8 work, and attach a rear-end, with cutting the trans. tunnel to make the driveshaft work.

Cody, just wait, I WILL one day AllTrac my Camry, and you know when I say I will do a mod, I do. May take a few years, but I will. Just like the 5 lug all disc on my Rolla I said I'd do 1.5 years ago. ;-)

Funny you say that... A local backyard mech built this a couple years back;

Cheap integra, fuel cell in front, EF front end cut and welded into the rear of said integra, junkyard turbo build, some decent tires = ~11's in the 1/4

Don't recall what motor, or other specs, but she was out and running in no time. All budget built in a garage for something like <6k$ including the cost of car...

lexwill, historically people always criticized and laughed at a lot of great ideas. If this floats your boat and you got money/time and desire - go for it. Heck, tune it up and make it first 1000HP es1000 (lol!) on the board. Let them drool on it after. This project wont be cheap by any means and wont pay back for itself financially but im sure you know this already ..

ES1000HP - i like this!
