Details:
2002 ES300 w/ factory Nav unit & ML sound. Head unit has both a standard antenna input as well as a diversity antenna. The standard antenna is small, the diversity antenna jack is large.

Without getting into all the gory details of my project, the standard antenna jack is being used and I can't mess with that. That said, I'd like to be able to add an FM modulator in between the diversity antenna and the head unit.

Problem: I need to take the diversity antenna jack and plug it into an FM modulator, so I need to find an adapter that will make it smaller. I will also need another adapter to take the FM modulator's line out (standard antenna jack) up to the diversity antenna size.

I can't find any info online regarding the 2002's diversity antenna. There are adapters galore for GMs and Nissans, but online shopping sites say they won't work.

Any non-sarcastic advice would really be welcome!
