ok new issue just started ...the indicator light for drive blinking
 

Ok one issue fixed so anothe pops up ...suddenly the indicator light for Drive is acting like it is going to fail ....intermittently flashes on and off and looks like a bad connection possibly in the switch somewhere ..anyone ever fixed this one?

This acts as if it is probably just a wire not making good connection but where? in the shift inside the car or is it a common problem someone can direct me to the area to look in?

It looks like it is a issue in the shift console with a gear selecttion indicator switch and while not hurting anything could affect the cruise control if it gets worse so time to dig into it soon and do the repair work ...besides it just irkes me to have the light in the dash flash on and off at random
